This is a Brazilian tribute album dedicated to the Danish doom metal band Saturnus, organized by the Brazilian band The Cross with official permission from Saturnus.
The album is a collection of cover versions of Saturnus songs performed by various Brazilian metal bands. Its title references one of Saturnus' well-known songs (»When the Bough Breaks» from the album Veronika Decides to Die), which includes the line «Where the gods play silently.»
The album exclusively features bands from Brazil playing in doom metal, death metal, and related genres. They pay homage to Saturnus' influence on the global and, in particular, the Brazilian metal scene.
