More info
THURSBANE wander through the sacred swamp with sluggish riffs, dense bass, and deep growls, as if you’re trudging through the marshes, taking one step at a time.
We shall call this land... DREGBOG. A place where, in the days of our homeland's prosperity, swamps and bogs were considered sacred.
At times, such places were where the outcasts of society were sent. Profane individuals were banished from sight and condemned/offered as sacrifices to their demise, restoring order among the people while being consumed by the bog.
DREGBOG will embody this territory.
THURSBANE continues to delve into themes of ancient Germanic gods and cosmology, with songs of struggle and sovereignty.
Originally, these tracks were intended to be an instrumental album with sprawling, wordless song structures.
However, the inspiration took a different turn. As lyrics began to emerge, the songs transformed. They were then significantly condensed to fit a more traditional song structure.
In line with the concept of the original album, instrumental versions of the tracks will be included. These renditions can stand alone and may differ in certain aspects from the vocal versions.
