“ NORDHEIM is the solo embodiment of Radok, a multi-instrumentalist and founder of the Italian band LORN. A project born in the silence of solitude, it serves as a sonic bridge between the icy landscapes of the Alps and the dark aesthetics of archaic black metal. The music teeters between aggression and meditation: sharp guitar whirlwinds dissolve into ethereal layers, while the voice, like the echo of mountain ravines, tells tales of forgotten myths.

At the heart of the album lies an ancient saga of the Kingdom of Fanes, discovered by Radok in his grandfather’s books. Two demo tracks, recorded in 2005 but conceived earlier, transport the listener into the realm of Tyrolean legends. The track titles reference key figures of the epic: Spina de Mùl-a sorcerer whose spells bring stones to life, and Ey de Nèt-a warrior whose fate is entwined with the mysteries of the night.

The project’s name is more than just a toponym from the Sarntal Valley; it is a symbol of the connection between land and creativity. NORDHEIM resonates like a frozen soundscape: harsh yet imbued with mystical beauty, where every shift from melody to dissonance mirrors the winding paths of the mountains. This is not an imitation of Scandinavian aesthetics but a vision of black metal through the lens of Alpine folklore-uncompromising, yet reverent toward its roots.

The atmosphere of Nordheim is a fusion of rebellious solitude and the revelation of primordial natural force, born from shamanic self-contemplation.
