For this final volume of «De kronieken van het verdwenen kasteel» (The Chronicles of the Vanished Castle – Grunsfort), we wandered through the misty fields and marshes surrounding Grunsfort Castle — erased from maps, its foundations whisper beneath the stars like gaping mouths.

Not far away lies Kwadenoord, where the ghost of a ruined manor lingers by the stream that still turns its ancient watermill. Long ago, servants glimpsed spectral apparitions rising from the mist each night — like a restless spirit, a cursed maiden whom neither earth nor water could claim.
