Painful Acceptance

Debut demo. Throughout 2024, while exploring their sound, K. and R. crafted these three compositions, recorded between March 2024 and February 2025. This work unveils a harsh and melancholic sonic landscape of desolation and depression.

The guitars were tracked through a very cheap reverb pedal, lending each recording a raw, progressive character. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Trist, Hypothermia, Forgotten Tomb, and Xasthur, we focused on song structures that begin simply but gradually build in intensity.

That feeling endures eternally — the thirst for control under the crushing weight of despair and existence itself. A razor’s edge as an attempt to forget, a detachment from everyone, an inability to expose inner pain. Months of indifference drag you down to the bottom, into a bathtub of blades from which memory refuses to let go. It’s all over, my friend…
