The project «OHOL YEG» was founded in January 2015 in Malmö, Sweden. Despite this, the group’s primary base is in Ankara, Turkey. The sole member since its inception has been Sazakan, who is responsible for all instruments as well as all musical and visual production.
Thanks to his commitment to authenticity and an ever-evolving artistic vision, Sazakan’s work continues to influence black metal in Turkey, adding a distinctive character to the genre.
The project has no ties to Satanism. Its core themes include nihilism, absurdism, nature, misanthropy, Turkic mythology, profanity, and anti-religious sentiment.
